The first reading ambassador of Sweden in 2011
Johan Unenge is a Swedish author, illustrator and scriptwriter. Over the past 30 years he has contributed to over a hundred books for children and young adults, and has also produced comics and written scripts for TV and films. A former national reading ambassador actively promoting reading among the young, he is currently a reading coach in a joint venture bringing together sports clubs and libraries. Member of the Swedish Academy for Children’s Books.
