Her dissertation explores references to \u201cWestern\u201d pop cultures in Czechoslovak cinema during the long 1970s. As an artist-researcher and science communicator, her work engages with the aesthetics and broader material culture of production design in the genre cinemas of Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, and the Soviet Union during late socialism.
