Her research and publications have focused on teacher preservice education, teacher motivation, professional socialization and continuing professional development, multicultural and integrated curricula, music learning theory, early childhood musical development and curricula. She has also participated in working groups organized by the Lithuanian Ministry of Education related to educational policy and the teaching profession, as well as in curriculum development projects implemented for the National Education Agency.
