Register now to make sure you reserve your seat!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Overview of the <\/u><\/strong><strong><u>Meeting:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day One \u2013 Wednesday 16 August<\/strong>:\u00a0<em>An introduction to E-learning<\/em>. This will be a combined\u00a0presentation and workshop conducted by two experienced digital teachers (Tord H\u00f8ivik and Kari\u00a0Gerhardsen Vikestad) from Oslo and Akershus University of Applied Sciences, Norway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day Two \u2013 Thursday 17 August<\/strong>: Genealogy and Local History session includes ten brief and\u00a0interesting presentations, with speakers from Hong Kong, Japan, Uganda, Nigeria, Brazil,\u00a0Romania, Latvia and Lithuania, followed by small group discussions.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon, our keynote speaker Daniel Horowitz from MyHeritage will present current developments and projects in the new and exciting field of DNA studies applied to genealogy.
