He earned dual PhDs: one in Modern European History from The Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz\u202fand another in Law and Political Sciences from P\u00e9ter P\u00e1zm\u00e1ny Catholic University in Budapest.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">From 2012 to 2014, he served as a research associate at the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies in Regensburg, followed by a position at the Leibniz Institute for European History in Mainz from 2014 to 2018. He has also worked at the University of Freiburg from 2020 to 2024 and has been affiliated with the University of Zurich since 2022.
