Dr. Daiva Penkauskienė is the director of Modern Didactics Centre and an associate professor at the Institute of Education and Social Work, Mykolas Romeris University. Her scientific interests in the domain of pedagogy include modern didactics, development of critical thinking, and in the domain of education research – qualitative research methodologies, philosophy of education. As the researcher, she is actively engaged in the national and international projects. Daiva Penkauskienė has been one of the active participants of education reform in Lithuania since 1987.
