Theater, when compared to other forms of art, has a particularly strong and emotional impact on a child, encourages them to think, develops imagination, fantasy, memory, attention, attentiveness and artistic self-expression. Theatrical games may contain treasures unknown and unexperienced by some. Cultivating a spontaneous, creative personality is valuable in itself.
And what kind of theater it would be without history, without stories, without books, where seen and unseen creatures live. We can instantly travel to the very edge of the world even sitting on the sofa as we read books. I invite you to create your own fairy tale using theater games, music, and motion. This workshop is for preschool teachers, educators, and anyone who enjoys creating.
We will create familiarization games, exercises, and finger games. We will discover book illustrations and poems, which we will try to stage using household supplies found at home. In one word – WE WILL PLAY.
